Glavé & Holmes Architecture is excited to announce the promotion of Eleanor C. Barton, CID, ASID, CDT from Senior Associate to Principal.
Barton joined the firm in 2006 and became the Director of the Interior Design Studio in 2008. She has helped develop and grow the studio from two people to 13. A Certified Interior Designer, she has created interiors for numerous project types including hospitality, cultural, and higher education. Prior to her interior design career, Barton worked in accounting and management. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Virginia Commonwealth University where she currently teaches an Ethics and Business Practices course. Her background and diverse portfolio shows a range of capabilities and willingness to accommodate any client. She is an active member of the American Society of Interior Designers, Society for College and University Planning, and the Network for Executive Women in Hospitality.
